WELCOME TO STAIS 2026

 

The International Conference “Smart Technology Applications for Next-generation Industry, Smart City and Sustainable Development – STAIS 2026” will be hosted by Thu Dau Mot University on October 16–17, 2026. This annual scientific event is jointly organized by five universities, including Thu Dau Mot University, Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Vinh University of Technology Education, and Gia Dinh University.
The conference is strongly supported and accompanied by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering, Le Quy Don Technical University, Phu Xuan University, Dong Thap University, University of Information and Communication Technology – Thai Nguyen University, Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association (HAuA), Vietnam Automation Association – VAA, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fourth Industrial Revolution Center (HCMC C4IR). The event also benefits from contributions by partners within transnational cooperation networks in Research, Innovation, and Higher Education, including the University of Liège (Belgium), the Institute of Mechanics – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Bulgaria), the University of Greenwich (UK), Cardiff University (UK), Newcastle University (UK), the University of Lille (France), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (Malaysia).
The STAIS conference series is organized with the aim of establishing and fostering sustainable collaborative relationships in scientific research, technological development, and innovation. It serves as a platform to expand ecosystems of experts and partners, while promoting applied research in smart technologies toward sustainable development.
STAIS 2026 seeks to explore and discuss emerging technologies of strategic significance for next-generation industry and sustainable development. The conference will focus on sharing research findings, practical experiences, and innovative solutions to build a smart, flexible, resilient, and human-centered ecosystem, thereby contributing to global sustainable development.

 INSTRUCTIONS TO CONTRIBUTORS

Proceedings Publication

Following a double-blind peer-review process, all accepted papers will be included in the official conference proceedings, issued with an ISBN by a recognized publisher. 

Outstanding papers will be selected for publication in Scopus-indexed journals by Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers must be prepared in the format of a scientific research article, written in English, with a length of 6 to 8 pages, following the provided template.
